First Haircut

Greer has fairly crazy hair. It's long in some spots, short in others. Curly in some areas, straight in others. In general, it's very unruly. Greg and I have trimmed it ourselves in the past, but we decided it was time for Greer's first official haircut. She left looking very similar to how she looked when we entered the salon, but her hair is a little more even now.

Here she is showing off her new style. Notice the added pink lock of hair that the hairdresser gave her.

More Ballet!

The parents were asked to stand behind a glass wall in another room during the ballet lesson, so you can't really hear the music or the girls in this video (just background conversations the parents were having). You can, however, still see how much Greer is enjoying the class.

Greer had her first ballet this morning, and loved it! She was so cute dancing around the room, and I'm already looking forward to next week's lesson. You can see some precious photos and very cute videos of our tiny dancer HERE.

Did I mention it was snowing?

Woke-up this morning to five inches of snow with seven more predicted by the afternoon. Stuck inside again today.

It's Snowing....Again.

When Greg and I first moved to Asheville, we were thrilled at the first snowfall! Five years later, the white stuff has lost some of its magic. It's still exciting to get the first big snow of the winter, but after that, it's more of an inconvenience than anything else. Nevertheless, we ventured out this morning to spend a little time outdoors and play in the snow. Greer still finds it pretty fun...

It's Been a While...

I apologize for the extended amount of time that has passed since my last blog update. What can I say? My excuses are: 1) we have been out of town quite a bit over the holidays, 2) we have been sick (stomach bug, cold, strep throat), and 3) we are expecting baby #2 in June, and I've just been really tired.
