A Day at the Zoo

We spent Saturday morning at the zoo, and had a great time! Here's a recap:

Greer riding the pretend bear.

Getting a boost from Daddy to see the animals.

Amazed by the gorillas.

Laughing at the monkeys - her favorite!

Checking out the elephants.

And holding her favorite food at home - Parmesan cheese.

Pinkalicious!

Pinkalicious is Greer's favorite book. She requests it every night, and sometimes during the day, too. It's about a little girl who eats so many pink cupcakes that she turns pink! Greer loves this possibility, and so today we made pink cupcakes to see if she would turn pink.

The school had a dress-up theme every day this week, and one day was "Prince & Princess Day." Greer was beyond thrilled (even though she doesn't look like it in this photo) to be able to wear one of her princess outfits to school.

Greer and Daddy also spent some time planting some cucumber and tomato seeds a week ago. They have sprouted up so fast, that they already had to transplant them to pots.

Finally, Greer hosted a tea party at our home for her friends this weekend. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and used very nice manners with the tea and crumpets.

Weekly Wrap-Up

As it snows outside (yes, it is really snowing...), I realize that I haven't posted any photos of my big belly (22 weeks now). So, this morning Greg took some photos to show off my growing mid-section.

Greer touching my big belly.

Greer sticking out her belly so her's will be big, too.

At her friend, Mariella's, on Saturday. They were having a tea party.

Doing some carpentry work at Home Depot with Daddy (building a race car). This took lots of concentration.
