Catch-up!

Whew! It's been a while since my last post. We've been very busy with the holidays and travel, but everything has been great! Greer has grown so much over the last week - she is now laughing, reaching out for Greg and me, playing with faces when people hold her, and teething (we think!). Below are some shots from Christmas in Huntsville, as well as some other photos.

Weekend Photos

We had a big weekend, and got an early start on our Christmas celebrations. Granny and the Prior's were in town visiting us and touring Asheville. We had our Christmas party for that side of the family Saturday night. It was lots of fun, but I failed to take pictures, so I don't have much to show you from that.

Greer has been eating solid food now for about a month and a half. We give her rice cereal with a fruit or veggie mixed in, and will move to oat cereal this week. She loves it so much that it takes both of us to feed her without her getting too fussy between bites; however, she's relaxed a little during supper over the last week so I was able to take this picture tonight. That's spinich, by the way...

Santa!

Greer had her picture made with Santa today, and she had a great time! I'm sure he's going to bring her lots of stuff because she is such a good girl.

We are Thankful!

This has been a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Sullins' home! The three of us spent the day together playing, eating, and enjoying the company. Here are some pictures from the day.

Good weekend

We had a good weekend with Greer! She continues to be such a happy baby, and we love spending time with her. It snowed on Saturday, so we got Greer a coat and toboggan for winter. She doesn't really like it.

Baptism Photos

Big Day!

We had a very big day today! Greer was baptized this morning in church, and then we had a picnic with family and friends to celebrate. Greer was SO GOOD during the ceremony! She smiled and was so sweet during the baptism, and then slept through the rest of the service. A friend of ours made some photos after the service, so I'll post those soon.

We ended this big day by giving Greer rice cereal for the first time! We had been told that babies typically refuse it the first time because it's so new and strange to them and because they don't know how to eat from a spoon. Not Greer! She LOVED it! In fact, I only got this one photo because every time we paused to take a picture, she fussed for more! We even gave her two servings! I think this will become part of our nightly routine now. She's such a good eater!

This isn't a funny "eating for the first time" picture. She really didn't make a mess with it because she ate it all.

Feeling a little better...

Greer was feeling a little better today, but still very congested and not as happy as usual. I worked from home so I could stay with her, and MamaSu will keep her tomorrow. The doctor said it was just congestion - nothing serious - but it's still hard to see her feel bad.

Not feeling too good...

Greer has been a little congested the last couple of weeks, but never had a fever or seemed to feel bad...until this weekend. She's been congested and tired all weekend, and has mostly been sleeping. While she has spent most of the last couple of days asleep, there has been little sleep at night. She's been waking up every couple of hours because she's so congested. Hopefully she'll get over this soon. I guess this is her first official cold, and is probably a result of germs she picked-up at school. I'll post some cute pictures when she's feeling a little better.

Greer is Walking (with Daddy's Help)

Greer has been so full of energy lately, and loves to sit-up and walk with Daddy's assistance. In this video she is walking on the table and talking to Greg. The lighting is a little fuzzy - sorry about that...I'm still working on my video skills.
