First Trip to Dentist

Greer had her first trip to the dentist this week! Everything looked great - she has 19 teeth and more on the way. She was poorly-behaved and bit the dental hygenist, but they said that was to be expected. She also met Clifford, the Big Red Dog, so that was the highlight of the trip.

Happy Birthday, Kelly! Jake and family came over Friday night for an early celebration of Kelly's birthday party.

We had cake.

And pizza.

And play time with cousins.

It was lots of fun!

We also had a play date at our house over the weekend. Here are Greer and Lily in the wagon. Summer also came over, and the girls played in the pool and had ice cream.

Weekend Concert

We are trying to make the most of our last days of summer around here. We went to a neighborhood (not our neighborhood) concert last night, and Greer had a blast.

More Summer Fun

Our weekend started with a play date at Carter's house (Greer's friend). Carter was born just two days before Greer, and Greg and I were in the same birthing classes as Carter's parents. We love to get together with them for play dates now.

Greer spent some time playing in the water, but quickly moved to Carter's fun trampoline. She spent most of the morning jumping on it with her friends.

That much jumping can really wear you out, so Greer took a quick rest on the bottom of the slide.

Also, Greer joined a new big kids' Sunday School class, and really likes it. They have great toys, and also have story time. Greer is enjoying her Sunday mornings.

Friends Visit

What a great weekend! My best friend from college, Karen, came up to Asheville for a couple of days with her family to visit! We had lots of fun, and enjoyed chasing after the kids nonstop. Here are some highlights.
