Far from Forgotten

With a new baby in the house, it might seem as if we are totally focused on little Celia and have forgotten about big sister Greer. I assure you, however, that Greer is getting plenty of attention and special surprises as she makes this transition. She has been a little (or maybe more than a little) needy the last two weeks, so we've tried to make time for some special Greer activities.

Things like....dress-up

...and pile all your friends on top of you...

and pool parties with her friends...

and princess tea parties with Daddy...

and pile-everything-onto-the-rocking-horse play time...

...and much more.

Greer has been an angel to Celia. She is really taking her big sister role seriously, and is great about touching Celia with gentle hands and giving her sweet kisses. She worries when Celia cries, and is especially interested in diaper changes. She's facinated with Celia's "bungee" (umbilical) cord, and is saying some really funny things about the differences between babies and big girls. With a birthday coming up, Greer will continue to receive special attention as she adjust to being a new big sister!

Greer looks like such a big girl now that she has a little sister! Celia is adorable in the photos. Congratulations!
