It's hard to believe, but Celia is a month old! As her personality emerges, here are a few notable traits:
LIKES: being held all the time, eating (every two hours during the day, a little less frequent at night), sleeping, being swaddled, looking at lights and ceiling fans, a clean diaper, crying.
DISLIKES: not being held, being held in an unpleasant position, being hungry, a dirty diaper, hiccups, having her diaper changed, baths, having her clothes changed.
Even with her strong preferences, she is still a sweet little girl and is doing very well. She is gaining weight like crazy, and the doctor said that her growth is "jumping curves" on the growth chart. As of Tuesday, she weighed 8 lbs. and 10.5 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. With that trajectory, I assume she'll be around 9 lbs. by the end of the week!
